Angus Women’s Centre
Angus Women’s Centre is an exciting and new approach to supporting women in Angus. The centre will bring together all services that women in Angus may want to access.
We asked women in Angus what they want in Angus and they said that they wanted a “one stop shop”, both virtual – a website- and real – a location. We asked women what this should be called and they said “Angus Women’s Centre”.
So welcome to Angus Women’s Centre website, the virtual one stop shop for contact details and information for women in Angus. Angus Women’s Centre website was designed by women in Angus for women in Angus.
Angus Women’s Centre brings together information and services on counselling; money; benefits; women’s health; jobs, training and learning in one trauma informed, confidential and safe space. This is not a new service – it is existing services working together to better meet the needs of women in Angus.
Angus Women’s Centre is based in The Cross in Forfar. The aim is that you will be able to access the support and information you need from the one location.
